Final Project "A Place of Our Own" Loft Design

Our final studio project was designing our own loft in Downtown Spokane. Our first assignent was to read the novel "A Place of Our Own" by Michael Polland. From there I chose a quote and constructed a 3-D model and conceptual sketch of the selected quote. Next, I wrote a narrative story intended to tell the audience what my ideal ideal space would consist of and from there I blended all of the elements of my sketch, model and narrative into one design conept. The concept embodied all of the design relationships and elements of Couer d' Alene and lake setting as the basis of my ideas. I also included a material board to help understand my concept.
